Many issues with a Chromebook can be resolved by performing a data wipe. Follow these steps below if you’re experiencing issues. Please note your screens and keyboard may look slightly different depending on model and ChromeOS version however the process is essentially the same.
(Note if you are a staff member doing this at the school, they won't automatically rejoin the district network once wiped, so you will need to submit a work order to have your tech rejoin it to the right network so it can re-enroll.)
First with the Chromebook powered off press press Esc++Power.

After a brief moment this screen will appear. Don’t worry everything is fine.

Press Ctrl+D

When this screen appears press Enter


This screen will appear next press Space


When this screen appears press Enter


Afterwards this screen will appear. It may take several minutes for the Chromebook to reboot.

After rebooting you’ll be presented with a welcome screen. Click Let’s Go

Now select your WiFi network from the list.

Enter your WiFi password

Accept the terms and conditions

At this screen enter your student’s username, click next and then enter their password.

Wait for the device to finish enrollment

You don’t need to enter or change anything at this screen. Simply click Next

Your student will now be able to sign in like normal.
