This is only available to full time teachers, administrators, and office staff. The feature that used to provide this to all staff was discontinued by Microsoft July 1st, 2024. You will need to utilize your @d93.k12.id.us employee email to license the office products on your personal device.
To install office products on your device you need to navigate to this link and choose the Apps & devices option on the left, and then Install Office button on the right. This will download a single installer file for all of the microsoft products shown above the Install Office button.
https://portal.office.com/account/#
If you click on the Devices carrot button ^ you can see all of the computers you are currently using your D93 Office licenses. All eligible employees are allow 5 device licenses (this does not include the license that comes on your D93 computer, only personal devices).
Running the Installer
This should be installed without any user interaction, but that will depend on your computer security settings. You may need to turn off Anti-Virus or Malware protection for this to install correctly.
To license your office products, you will have to sign in with your D93 credentials. This will be your @d93.k12.id.us email address and your current district password.
***VERY IMPORTANT***
Do not check the box in this prompt to have your organization manage your device. This will allow D93 Device Management settings to be pushed down to your personal device, meaning you will lose control of your personal device and have D93 manage it. We want to have this box unchecked and click on the link at the bottom left that says No, sign into this app only.
After this screen, you will get a 2-Factor-Authentication prompt, and once successfully passed, you have licensed your products with your D93 credentials. This product will require re-authentication every 30-90 days, so you will need to have access to your D93 2FA phone number to re-verify the license of this product every 30-90 days.
